Finally -- an exterior company that actually knows what customer service is! I had a small gutter project that no one would even call me back about. Muller (Rob) called me back immediately and got the job done asap. Because of this, i have an enormous amount of additional exterior work that needs to be done on the house and Muller will absolutely get my business. Amazing that there are firms like Muller still left in the world. No hesitation recommending Muller to anyone.

I had our patio door replaced today by Rob and his crew. They were here on time and did a very professional job. The door quality is excellent and at a very fair price. Rob has been very informative and helpful from the very beginning until the end of the job. I would highly recommend this contractor. The next hailstorm, I have David from Muller Exteriors on my speed dial!!! Thanks again guys

We were recommended to Muller Exteriors from professionals in the trade that said our particular roof (specialized exterior roof insulation panels) was not something they could take on. We received a fair quote from David and he worked within our budget. The entire Muller team was outstanding. They were very professional and I was confident in their work. They really know what they are doing. The team put in some long days in extreme heat and got the job done on time--just as promised. We are very happy with the new roof, the foam insulation, skylights, gutters and fascia. Great job guys and we will see you again when we are ready for the other roofing project!

I have hired Muller Exteriors for multiple projects on my home over the past 6 years. The work included the following: new roof, roof maintenance, new doors, new windows, & attic vents. I have found them easy to work with, prompt, efficient, and professional. They are accommodating, neat & pleasant.

We had a bad leak in our roof that rotted out a window and a big patch of drywall in our kitchen ceiling. We had several roofers come out to look at it, but nobody wanted to do a full inspection or even get on the roof. Then, we called Muller Exteriors in Lake Zurich. Dave Muller came to our home, did a full inspection, came up with a detailed, sensible plan, talked to our insurance agent, and went to work. Mullers Exteriors team was hard-working, very knowledgeable, punctual and polite. I have to admit that working with us was not super easy because the roof leak had caused a lot of damage. But, the Muller team walked us through everything calmly and patiently and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend Muller Exteriors in Lake Zurich. You'll get great work at a fair price by a knowledgeable and dedicated team.

Ended up using Muller to replace twice damaged hail damaged roof. The first contractor replaced all flashing but Muller did not. Even challenged Dave on that but he said it was not necessary. Mistake as it looks like Cxxxx now a few years later.

Had Muller install a new Sliding Door. Poor quality low-cost product installed, and has been problematic ever since, and needs to be replaced.

This time around the dryer vent louvers Muller installed well within the warranty period failed. Called several months ago to the main phone number and like other people who have provided reviews, I had no response.

Finally got around to sending in another request this time using the website. This time the response was immediate. Muller came out and replaced what should have been under warranty but suggested I post a Google Review in return for a no cost invoice.

Just received another pushy email from Dave the owner reminding me to post a Google Review or else to expect to receive an invoice. is my most honest and humble review of your services over time, your customer service posture to me, your warranty response, and my personal experiences in our Supplier/Customer Relationship.

Customer Service and Quality Services are Key and the voice of customer is real. Lets see if I now receive an invoice for posting an open and honest Google Review.

We are sorry you feel this way. We don't warranty the vents only the labor. We covered the cost of the vents and asked if you would do a review.

New gutters, roof, siding all done by Muller. They are an awesome company to work with. Price was very fair and work was coordinated to match our demanding schedule. I would strongly recommend Dave and his company to all my friends and family. On a extra note his employees were very polite and concerned. I especially appreciated that Dave took the time to check on his work and come personally to our home to assure my wife was happy. Great job!

Based on a recommendation, I reached out to Muller Exteriors to evaluate and possibly replace our cedar shake roof. Our experience has been outstanding! Dave Muller conducted a comprehensive analysis of possible roof damage and assisted in convincing our insurer to fully cover replacement of the roof. He offered excellent advice and helped us select the proper materials. His installers were thorough and meticulous. Although we were unable to be at the house while the work was being done, Dave kept us up to date of their progress with pictures and regularly communicating with us. It is obvious Muller Exteriors is truly a customer centric business, professionally run with care and attention to details. I highly recommend Muller Exteriors!

I would give 0 stars if that was an option.
Muller Exteriors did new roof installation on my townhouse in 2011, they provided 10 year warranty on it.
Now, 8 years later, my roof started leaking, so I contacted them to get it fixed.
The main contact number they have is pretty much answering service, they just take messages. I got lucky first time - David Sr. called me back same day and told me that David Jr. will come to check on the issue within next 2 days.
That did not happen. I had to leave multiple messages and send multiple emails, which were unanswered or answered with significant delays. Finally, 8 days later, David Jr came and told me that a piece of plywood was buckling up, and since they did not replace all the plywood with new roof installation (obviously good plywood did not need to be replaced), that is not covered by warranty and would cost me $450: "This repair would typically be a $1,200 dollar repair but because we care about our customers and the positive reviews we receive we are doing this repair around our cost". He scheduled repair for next day and that of course did not happen.
To make a long story short: I had another contractor to check on this, who confirmed that plywood was buckling up, also in other spots on my neighbors roofs, which was likely due to ventilation issue (Muller Exteriors did new roof installation on multiple units in our subdivision, including installation of ridge vent). The repair cost was $350.
That repair voided my warranty, which was not there anyway as far as I am concerned.

To summarize: Muller Exteriors' workmanship quality is questionable, it is extremely hard to reach them, and their 10 year warranty is simply not there.

Thank you for your feedback  and we are sorry for your frustration in dealing with your roof leak. We did install a new roof on your townhouse in 2011 and it is covered by our 10 Year Labor Warranty as stated on the Project Contract you signed before the work was stated. The plywood decking that buckled was installed when your townhouse was built by your builder. We did not install that as part of our work in 2011, we only removed the old roofing material and installed new roofing material(shingles), those materials have a separate warranty from the manufacturer and we cover the labor portion if the shingles were installed incorrectly, which they were not.

We offered to remove all shingles and replace the decking that buckled and re-shingle that area at our cost in efforts to do the right thing and help you as a customer of ours. The delay in the repair being completed the next day was because we received an email  from you after we gave you the quote for $450, questioning why that was not covered under the labor warranty. We were simply trying to verify you still wanted us to complete the repair at cost, as we quoted.

We hope this explains what our Labor Warranty covers and why the buckled decking was not covered under that Warranty. Thank you again for your feedback and we are sorry you are unhappy with the outcome.
